Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga came alive with colour, music and the vibrant spirit of South Australia’s multicultural communities! The 2025 Multicultural Festival was a spectacular celebration of unity in diversity, with more than 85 multicultural community groups representing 65 cultures showcasing their traditions, and thousands of visitors enjoying over 150 cultural food items from around the world.

South Australia has a proud history of embracing cultural harmony, and this festival is a testament to that vision. What began as a smaller event in Rundle Mall grew into one of the state’s most anticipated outdoor multicultural celebrations under the previous Marshall Government.

I was privileged to implement the vision to expand the festival to Victoria Square, creating space for thousands to connect and celebrate. I am proud the current Government, continues to invest in this cornerstone of our wonderfully diverse community.

Our diversity is our strength, our resilience and our hope for future generations.
