It’s the largest Polish arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere - and it was held in Adelaide from December 27th - January 5th.

South Australian Polish community has a long and enduring legacy of around 170 years, and this event marked 50 amazing years of PolArt, the longest-running Polish cultural festival outside Poland.

From 27 December 2025 to 5 January 2026, Adelaide came alive with colour, music and tradition as more than 500 artists from across Australia and New Zealand share the beauty of Polish culture through literature and performing arts.

The Polish community has enriched South Australia for generations with its traditions, enterprise and strong family values. PolArt is a wonderful showcase of heritage and creativity that strengthens multicultural harmony and community connection.

The Polish Visual Art exhibition celebrates the creativity and diversity of Polish-Australian artists, showcasing a stunning array of works across a range of mediums and styles.

Each piece reflects not only ongoing contribution of the Polish community in Australia - but the cultural expression of migrant stories, traditions and an enduring affection for the homeland that has shaped the Polish diaspora in Australia for generations.

For 50 years, PolArt has showcased Polish art and culture across Australia and New Zealand, and in 2025, Adelaide is proud host for this milestone anniversary festival – the largest Polish arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere!

Special thanks to President, Organising Committee, volunteers and all involved.
