The 2025 bp Adelaide Grand Final is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the first Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix in Adelaide, the South Australian capital.
Between 1985 and 1995, 11 F1 Grands Prix were held on the original 3.78km Adelaide layout before the event moved to Melbourne’s Albert Park in 1996.
Supercars has raced on a shortened version of the circuit since 1999, bar 2021. Then back in 2022, Adelaide has hosted the Supercars season finale.
