I am truly humbled and extremely proud to be joined by more than one thousand supporters in a sea of purple as I launch my campaign for re-election under my new political party, Jing Lee – Better Community.

The community is the driving force behind who I am and what I do. I am committed to working with people from all cultures, all professions and all industries to build a better, safer and stronger community together. 

With about 100 days until the next State Election, I’m putting the community first and giving South Australians a genuine alternative.

Many people are disillusioned by the major parties, broken promises and infighting. On the contrary, I offer a strong, independent voice that will continue to keep government accountable.

South Australians deserve leaders who listen, act with integrity, and work collaboratively to deliver real outcomes.

I’m focused on developing and supporting policies that:

-          Ease cost-of-living pressures on individuals and families.

-          Reduce red tape and the cost of doing business.

-          Support industries and initiatives that create jobs and grow the economy.

-          Ensure better access to quality healthcare, education and social services for all South Australians.

-          Strengthen personal and public safety.

I am a proud Australian, passionate South Australian leader, a strong business and industry advocate, and a trailblazer in multicultural representation.

During my 15 years in Parliament, which include senior leadership roles, I have had the privilege of meeting thousands of South Australians, from all walks of life, and have

gained a deep understanding of what matters most to them.

I have consistently championed diversity and inclusion, small and family businesses, social and cultural policies, and economic development driven by a deep belief in the power of community and enterprise to shape a better future.

In January 2025, I left the Liberal Party of South Australia to serve as an Independent Member of the Legislative Council.

Encouraged by widespread community support, I formed a new single-member Political Party, Jing Lee – Better Community, in May 2025.  

The party reflects the values that have always guided my moral compass and work ethos: respect, trust, integrity, inclusivity and accountability.

Jing Lee – Better Community is built around three pillars: Better Community, Safer Society and Stronger Economy.

Every day, I am motivated to represent our diverse community, businesses and industries so that we can achieve greater prosperity.

My new political movement enables me to amplify the voices of our community and allows me to work constructively with all sides of politics to get the very best outcomes for South Australians.

People are sick and tired of being overlooked by the major parties whose rhetoric remains the same. They want to see politics done differently.

As a strong, independent voice, that’s what I can offer. A voice and a vision for positive change, that brings the community together and makes us stronger. 

I look forward to upcoming State Election on March 21, 2026, and being a credible, alternative option, who South Australians can trust.
