What an amazing night!

Honouring 50 Years of successful settlement and outstanding contributions of the Vietnamese Community in South Australia!

The first generation of Vietnamese refugees and immigrants faced significant challenges, including language barriers, cultural differences, and navigating complex social, economic, and political factors. Vietnamese resilience in Australia is evident in the community's ability to overcome initial hardships like language barriers and discrimination to not only survive but thrive, making significant cultural and economic contributions to the country. Their incredible resilience is demonstrated through the community's strong social networks, successful integration into various industries, professions and successful preservation of cultural identity while embracing Australian life.
