Election Platform Response - South Australian Business Chamber

Updated: Jan 19

I welcome the opportunity to respond to the South Australian Business Chamber’s Pre Election Charter 2026 and strongly support its practical, outcomes-focused recommendations to strengthen our economy and workforce.

Key priorities include a whole-of-government Red Tape Reduction Program, payroll tax reform to ease cost pressures on SMEs, and initiatives to boost exports and digital capability. I also endorse measures to build a skilled and inclusive workforce through global talent programs, faster recognition of migrant qualifications, and incentives for apprentices and trainees.

These proposals align closely with my Better Community, Safer Society, Stronger Economy platform, including announced policies on payroll tax relief, skills recognition, cyber resilience, and regional growth hubs. Together, these reforms will help businesses invest, create jobs, and drive prosperity across South Australia.
