I am pleased to share my formal response to the Tourism Industry Council South Australia’s State Election Tourism Policy Priorities: 2026 and Beyond. TiCSA has presented a thoughtful and forward‑looking platform that highlights the importance of international marketing, regional infrastructure, industry capability, events‑led visitation, sustainability, and stronger government–industry partnerships. Their policy priorities reflect the real needs of operators across South Australia and outline practical ways to strengthen our State’s visitor economy.
Many of TiCSA’s recommendations closely align with my Better Community, Safer Society, Stronger Economy platform, including my commitments to Red Tape Reduction, Regional Growth Hubs, Skills and Workforce Support, and year‑round economic activation. I welcome the opportunity to work collaboratively with TiCSA and the broader tourism industry to deliver meaningful reforms that attract investment, support small and family businesses, create local jobs, and build a more vibrant and resilient tourism sector for metropolitan and regional South Australia.
